I am married with 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I was raised in the Methodist faith.  I started attending the Episcopal church around 1975 in Austin and joined around 1980.  I attended St. Mark's in San Antonio until my wife, Tommie Helen and I moved to New Braunfels in 2003.  We have enjoyed and felt more at home with St. Francis than any other church we have EVER attended.

     I currently coordinate Ushers & Greeters for 10:30 service.

     I am not sure what I can contribute but I am willing to try.

I grew up in Garland TX where I attended St. David's Episcopal Church.  I was confirmed in that church and active in EYC.  I also was an acolyte from about 10 years old through high school.
     I attended Texas A&M and was active in the Canterbury House.  I served as Acolyte, Chalice Bearer, and lay reader.
     When we moved to New Braunfels 17 years ago my family attended First Methodist Church in New Braunfels.  During that time I would visit St. Francis to take communion.  The Johnston's told me about St. Francis.  We officially joined St. Francis a little over a year ago. 
     I currently am an Acolyte.  I am married to Carrie and we have three daughters; Jessica, Emily, and Maggie.  All three girls are Acolytes.  I joined St. Francis because I feel that I really have found a church family that I feel a part of.
     I am a Regional Manager for the Scooter Store.  I feel my business background combined with my faith can help me bring a strong common sense attitude to the vestry.  I was involved with the student leadership at Canterbury House and I feel I have an understanding of what a parish faces in it's day to day operations and it's  endeavor in planning for growth.  I am humbled to have been asked to serve.  If elected to the vestry I will serve with a sense of true purpose.
