Veterinary Mission to the Diocese of Southeastern MexicoThe veterinary mission to Mexico is a two-pronged effort to bring preventive medical care to the livestock and pet animals integral to rural life in the Diocese of Southeastern Mexico, as well as to bring public health instruction to the families and children of the rural areas of the diocese. The animals will be vaccinated for common diseases and treated to eliminate internal and external parasites. The children and families will be taught basic hygiene and disease prevention, the importance of sanitation and personal hygiene and the prevention of animal bites. The mission will be greatly benefitted by your prayers and monetary support. You need not be a veterinarian or animal technician to go to Mexico as a missioner. Love for the people and a teachable spirit are all that are needed. Please search your heart and be open to the possibility of God's still small voice entreating you to heed the call. "I will go, if You lead me. I will hold your people in my heart." Contact Dr. Valerie Kirk at 830 515-6743 |
